Haiku Finalist

The theme “Metamorphosis” inspired some incredible haikus for this year’s Haiku Hike in @downtowntucson. My haiku titled: “Mom” was one of the finalists. It is located on 5th street between Congress and Broadway. It reads:

Mom
Who sang me to sleep.
Inquired, “Where, for how long?”
Now I hold her hand.
- Naomi Ortiz

The map to the Haiku Hike can be found here.

Co-Sponsored by the @uapoetrycenter the 20 finalists were selected by @tc.tolbert.
